My Story
After the pandemic, life felt like a blur. The months of isolation had reshaped so many aspects of daily life, and when I moved to Surrey in early 2021, I was eager to reconnect—with myself, with others, and with a sense of joy I hadn’t felt in a long time.
Surrey’s peaceful backdrop made it easy to stay present. Between downward dogs and avocado toasts, I found something invaluable: a space to breathe again, to appreciate the little things, and to embrace the new chapter unfolding in my life.
Now, as I reflect on those early days in Surrey, I realise it wasn’t just the yoga or the brunch—it was the sense of belonging that made all the difference. And that’s something I’ll carry with me, no matter where life takes me next.
